Sacha & Jon Uritis Wedding

Throwback to the first wedding I actually got paid to shoot! I started my career working with an established wedding photographer here in Vegas. Up until this wedding, I had only observed, assisted, held bags, or handed lenses to the people who were taking the photos that would go to the clients. I had about 10 weddings under my belt where I would shoot whenever I could throughout the day, and turn in my work for critique and learning. So, when I got the call from an out-of-town friend, I was so honored it was a chance to second shoot for the first friend I made in high school!

The girls got ready in a hotel suite that had the most gorgeous light! I had so much fun playing with the light and shadows as she and her party started their day.

Sacha was always a bright, vibrant person, so it was no surprise that her wedding day would be the same! Fun, boho accents set the vibe, there was a feeling of light heartedness in the air.

The ceremony was beautiful! Vows that were personal and sweet caused many misty eyes. Took all my power not to tear up as we got that money shot at the alter!

Sacha and Jon had amazing friends by their side all day, including some of their, and my, oldest friends! With a Groomsmaid and Bridesman, we were in stitches all day with this group!
